When my dog broke her leg about 13 years ago, we got quotes.

It was one of the front legs and both bones were completely broken through. I sent x-rays to different places

1. First couple of quotes - can't remember who. varied from $3k - $4k
2. Virginia Tech vet school - They gave me a quote of $1750. We are in NoVa and I was going to do this one, until I found #3.
3. Blue Ridge Veterinary (Purcellville) https://blueridgevets.com/ $2300. I figured this was a wash with VT since I wouldn't have to drive there or stay in a hotel. I don't remember the surgeon's name but we were very happy with the results. My dog was 4 yrs old at the time and lived to a ripe old age of 15.
